5 Months Old!

Our happy boy!
I know I sound like a broken record, but we can't believe our baby boy is already 5 months old!  What a wonderful time it has been!  Mason is changing every day.  His hair is super fine like Daddy's and has about as many cowlicks as Granddaddy!  It usually sticks straight up on the top.  He definitely has more hair than I did!  Most everything he grabs goes directly into his mouth.  We think teeth are on the way.  He likes tummy time more and more.  He's working on sitting up--Mason's so strong!  And he LOVES bouncing on the bed.  We'll have to get a video of his giggles and smiles!
Uncle Chris, Aunt Viv, and the cousins: Kasey and Allison came to meet Mason on Saturday.  Let's just say none of them can keep their hands off my sweet little boy!  The girls are enamored and always want to play.  Years into the future, I see some fun times continuing to be had.
We'll celebrate Thanksgiving here in Richmond with them.  We have so much to be thankful for every year, but this year seems just that much more special with Mason in our lives!
Waiting to meet the rest of the family

Monumental Week!

Oh my gosh!  Every day this week has brought changes in our boy!  I said on Monday that last weekend it was like Mason grew up.  It didn't stop this week!
Here's all that happened:  Mason began loving his exersaucer--video to follow.  Now when you put a toy in front of Mason, he grabs it and puts it straight in his mouth!  AND LAST BUT NOT LEAST, Mason is now a rolling boy!
When we went to the doctor for his 4 1/2 month well visit (He's now 16 lbs. and 26 in. long!), she asked if he was rolling.  I told her that he didn't seem that interested in it when we had tummy time.  We put him up on the counter and lo and behold, he rolled over!  I thought it was too good to be true so we tried when we got home.  Yep, this boy is rolling!  This is such a fun age and we know it will just keep getting better!
