16 Months Old!

Here's the big boy!  He is, again, completely amazing.  Mason is picking up words like he's a lint brush.  About every other day, he figures another one out:  Mommmm, Daddy, kitty, puppy--he'll even name them Oliver and Baxter, shoe, socks, show, side (outside), please (essss), thank you (just the intonation), ball, book, car...this is the coolest age!
It is continuously becoming harder and harder for him to sit still for his monthly picture.  But I figure in a few more months, he'll understand stay still...I won't hold my breath on that one!

Perfect Pumpkin Patch Day!

We had the best time at the Pumpkin Patch today!  I couldn't help but reminisce that last year we had to prop Mason up on the pumpkins.

This year, we couldn't get him to sit still!  Mason quickly took to exploring and said, "Oooohhh!" at everything.  Notice, in most of his pictures, that's what he's saying.  He patted all the pumpkins, picked out really cool gourds, and wanted to pick pumpkins up and place them all around.  With all of his pickings, we'll be doing some fun art projects in the next few weeks.  We had such a fun time today--if you couldn't tell! :)
