Since Mason (Daddy's Little Monkey) turned two months old, we have had quite the busy time. Shawn Thomas had back surgery to close out my summer vacation/maternity leave. Mom and Dad (Yaya and Grandaddy) came to visit and help us transition Mason into childcare since ST was out of commission. I returned to work at the end of August and started back to school on Tuesday. Written down, it doesn't look like much, but man, was it more than a paragraph!
I have to say, I feel like I transitioned to work pretty well with only a couple of breakdowns. :) Mason, of course, did beautifully! He loves Ms. Wendy and the other children he plays with all day. I so look forward to picking him up every day to see how he has changed in the short 7 hours we are apart!
Mason continues to change quickly. He is working on finding his hands. They eventually end up in his mouth. Sometimes it looks like he is trying to hit himself!
Mason sees more and more. My favorite thing is when he recognizes me first thing in the morning. There is nothing like starting the day off with a bright Mason smile!
